SHEEPING THE WOLVES

Many homes are suffering breakages today because of ideological imbalances, misinterpretations of wrong concepts or direct deceit borne out of ideologies that were formed to justify someone’s personal errors. Most of the people that these ideologies emanate(d) from harbor bitterness or regrets that they will never share with anybody but they are using a synergy springing from bitterness and mission on wrong vendetta to wage a war of ‘destroying it all’.

The unfortunate angle of all these, is the magnitude of the waves they rage resulting in an endless number of followers they gather.

They preach liberty with shackles, chains and fetters in their luggage. Their tongues are honey laced and their pens are swift. The social media have made their range of attacks seamless.

They are teaching the sheep how to become super wolves that, will make the wolves to be sheep: Going to battles with hooves and horns against claws and incisors that have been training from birth. Will they succeed?

The misconstruing of woman liberation, gender equality, feminism, etc is breaking many homes in Africa where the man has always been seen as the lord and the master. Most African male would rather treat women like garment that should be changed than to losing his lion king status. The ability or capability to be able to tame your errant, stubborn wife is the pride of an ego filled African male.

Assuming these freedom fighters are providing the economic arsenals that will level the playing ground, things may be better. The reverse the case; it is a case of eating your cake and still having it!

There nothing wrong in the husband having an equal share of the female’s tasks in the home and also the wife having same loads of masculine responsibilities as the husband. That is Gender equality.

This is not what they preach. They want the man to carry out his responsibilities diligently and along the way carrying some, if not all, the loads of the wife. 

I am not saying that the man cannot help the wife in her domestic responsibilities, but that it should not be seen as right but as privileges that should be acknowledged with gratitude.

A woman is naturally the commander in chief of the home, she commands the man in a sublime subtle ways that the man can never disobey. 

Direct control, trying to tie him to the hem of her apron or bringing him around with snapping of the fingers or just whistling, brings some forms of aggression that are in greater proportions than the cause and most of the time catastrophic. The chemical theory of actions and reactions are equal and opposite are not applicable to human nature. Actions may bring no reactions, may bring inaction or out of proportion reactions.

Chains of events in this trend brings conflicts, deviance, distancing, indifference, apathy, aggression, excommunication etc. Consequentially, extra marital affairs set in and this is pointing to separation or divorce.

Divorce was seen, in the time past, as a thing of shame but today, having kids to or from multiple partners means nothing.

The rate of “home killings” resulting from domestic violence is an indicator of the break down in the values placed on marriages by Africans. At first, it was the men that were killing their wives, but now it is the sheep that is killing the wolves. Why? For reasons that fowls should not be killed! Sacrificial release of controls by the man and unconditional submission by the wife are keys to a happy married life.

When reading the scripture that admonishes the wife to submit to the husband and does not command her to love him, what crosses your mind? The woman does not need persuasion to love, she is love personified. Why submission? This is because the man is an over assuming, self edifying, self justifying, self righteous prig, that will be difficult to submit to. Who really wants to submit to a bully?

The same scripture says man should love the wife. Does this bother you? Woman on the surface is a piece of creation that was made with advance intricacies; an ornament to be cherished, adored and treasured. 

This piece of work can display viciousness and brutality unparalleled. As I pointed out earlier, the woman is an emotional being that is not so much stable, easily swayed by situations. She is, more often than not, ruled by hunches, intuitions and emotion rather than logic and reasons. (1 Tim 2:14-15 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived…. NIV) They will say things or form an attitude based on hunches or intuitions and want you to bite into it. How do you think that these will not bring in chagrin from a man whose life is ruled by whys and hows? That is why the scripture says that man should love them. 

Woman can be more faithful than a dog. She can make herself domicile even when she is a ‘king’ within. She can care till you wish to die from the care. Where is the woman now?

Today’s woman is busy orchestrating the songs of the debased ones that had missed it and are looking for people that will share in their woes, she is busy choreographing the mysterious songs of miseries of the woman that had lost her glory and first calling.

The purpose of a woman is to making the man through the boy and making more women, through the girl child, that will make more men. Her task is to tame the beast in man, to tether the wildness in the man, with submission borne out of love (not from intimidation), to put the man on the leash and make him a willing captive.

Let me go a little religious here. A woman is the glory of her man as the man is the glory of God. 1 Cor 11:3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. NIV

1 Cor 11:7-10: A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head. NIV

A symbol of authority? Whose authority? God’s? Emphatically no. Symbol of the man! The seal of possession! Man was created in the image of God and woman was made from man and for man.

Because the woman has lost her glorious higher ministry of humanity building, she is now usurping the lower calling of the man, as God errand boy. She wants to lead men (a very difficult task, even for men), she wants to sit on the altar etc. 1 Tim 2:11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. 15 But women will be saved through childbearing — if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety. NIV 

For the sake of the future of humanity, the woman should go back to her superior calling and start building better men than the wrecks we have today. The man you refuse to build will come back to bullying you.

GOOD IS BAD, BAD IS GOOD

there is no absolute good or bad: both is same thing in a continuum. there is evil in good and there is good in bad. Conditions make them what they are, subject of interpretations.

WISDOM

Wisdom is a gift, mostly inert. Knowledge is an adventure, useless if not understood. Understanding is the key that unlocks the door that shuts knowledge out of the chamber of wisdom. Knowledge without understanding make one a tool in the hands of men of wisdom.
